Tony is the type of character that we all encounter at some point in any city. He is a loner, a bit of an odball, unemployed, unclean, desperate for approval and acceptance.
Played brilliantly by Peter Ferdinando Tony finds himself in various situations that he cannot quite handle throughout the film, some of which have dire outcomes.
The story kind of shuffles along without really going anywhere but the uneasiness of it all and Ferdinando's performance make this worthwhile for any fan of Henry: Portrait Of A Serial Killer or the book Killing For Company.

I knew nothing about this movie when I watched it and was shocked when Tony's more sinister side was revealed. Ferdinando played his character brilliantly and although the film had no apparent start, middle or ending, it was compelling all the way through.
ReplyDeleteForgot to mention. I even worryingly share Tony's taste in 80's action movies. Who can forget the classics Enemy Territory and Hider In The House. Growing up on 80's videos I remember these amongst many others very fondly, doubt many of them would stand the test of time though. Maybe I'll post a review of some 80's films to see how they stand up today.

ReplyDeleteTom,
